Compliment Relay June 2023 by Soongeun Hwang, Researcher of ADVANTAPP

 

It's June, and we're already halfway through 2023.

How are you doing on those goals you set at the beginning of the year?

June is the turning point of the year, so it's a great time to take stock of your goals for the year.

In June, the compliment relay came back.

This June, we're honored to have Soongeun Hwang, a researcher at ADVANTAPP’s Research Institute,

a subsidiary of MONITORAPP, which is in charge of business solutions.

Let's get to know Soongeun Hwang through an interview.

 

Q1. How long have you been working at ADVANTAPP and what kind of work do you do?

  As introduced above, ADVANTAPP is a subsidiary of MONITORAPP and provides AIWORKS, an integrated collaboration tool that includes SFA sales management, groupware, and MyDrive, a cloud storage service. Personally, I have been working here for three years, and I am in charge of planning and producing AIWORKS homepage, manuals and promotional contents posted on the homepage and blog, and I am also in charge of service planning. Recently, I am also working on the renewal of the MONITORAPP homepage.

Q2. You've been working at ADVANTAPP for three years now, how would you describe the organizational culture of MONITORAPP and ADVANTAPP that you've experienced?

  I think the organizational culture and welfare of MONITORAPP and ADVANTAPP have been steadily improving since I joined the company. I am also satisfied with my life, and I feel that the company mood has become more energized with the recent news of MONITORAPP's listing.    

Q3. How does it feel to be selected as a Compliment Relay runner?

  I'm grateful to have been selected as a Compliment Relay runner because I think I still have a lot of shortcomings that I need to work on to receive compliments. I don't think it's because I've done a good job, but rather because it means that I should do better in the future, and I want to do my best not only in the work I'm currently in charge of, but also in collaboration and communication with other departments.  

Q4. What do you think is the reason why you were selected as a Compliment Relay Runner?

 

Due to the nature of our work, ADVANTAPP provides its own services, so we often only work within the team.

We didn't have many tasks to collaborate with other departments.

This was the first time I officially collaborated with other departments in this situation, so I was nervous about whether I could do it well,

but I think it was because I tried to communicate well with the people involved in the work.

Q5. What are your goals for ADVANTAPP in 2023?

  As I mentioned earlier, ADVANTAPP's service AIWORKS is in a continuous development stage, and in addition to the currently released SFA, groupware, and MyDrive, we are planning to add services such as messenger, e-contract, and video conferencing to become an integrated collaboration tool. I would like to say that my goal for this year is to effectively guide users on how to use AIWORKS services, manage the homepage so that AIWORKS services can be better known, and produce good content in line with the update of existing services and the launch of new services.

Q6. How would you like to see ADVANTAPP grow in the medium to long term and do you have any wishes for ADVANTAPP?

  I hope ADVANTAPP will grow into a company that can make a mark in the integrated collaboration tool industry by expanding its services in the medium to long term. For this, I hope that many good colleagues will join us to grow and think together. I also hope that the service expansion will be stable and successful as we are all working hard to provide the service with a small staff.

Q7. What are the two keywords that you recommend joining MONITORAPP?

 

The first is 'welfare'. The company's welfare is steadily improving, and Family Day, which allows you to leave work early once a month, is my favorite welfare system.

I'm looking forward to seeing if there will be a welfare system that I like more than Family Day in the future.

The second is 'co-worker'. I think co-worker is as important as work in company life. I was able to adapt well to the organization because I had colleagues who are constantly working hard to grow and are kind and passionate I feel like I'm getting a desire to grow without stopping.
