Compliment Relay February 2024 by Minah Park, Head of Management Planning Department

Hello, We're MONITORAPP.

The cold snap of the weekend, which was the first start of March, has receded, and a warm week has begun as if when it was cold.

I hope there will always be many fun things to celebrate in spring, which will soon become warmer.

To get to the point, the second compliment relay of 2024 is here~

Do you remember that last January, Eunji Jeon, the association researcher (the UX team in the institute's Appliance division), started as the first runner?

Well, let's introduce the February runner right away.

Our February compliment relay runner is Ms. MinAh Park, Head of Business Planning. Let's meet her in an interview.

Q1. Congratulations on being selected as the February compliment relay runner. :) Please tell us about your role at MONITORAPP.

hello. I'm MinAh Park, Head of Business Planning at MONITORAPP.

I've been with MONITORAPP for 3 years now, and I'm in charge of the entire business planning department, including HR, accounting, general affairs, and purchasing.

It's a pleasure to introduce myself.

Q2. You've been working at MONITORAPP for about three years now. How has the MONITORAPP culture been for you?

Since 2021, when I joined MONITORAPP, there has been a lot of growth and change externally.

All members have been actively participating in various communication and exchange activities,

and it seems that we are in the process of creating an organizational culture in a more progressive direction.

As it is a process of continuous improvement and reflection, I would like to say that we are expecting positive effects in various ways.

Q3. As the head of business planning, what kind of company do you aim for MONITORAPP to become (future picture)?

As a new public company that joined the KOSDAQ in 2023, there are still some things that need to be created and changed both internally and externally,

but we aim to become a company that grows by finding a work-life balance and working together so that all employees can feel a sense of belonging and pride as a member of MONITORAPP.

Q4. How does it feel to be selected as a compliment relay runner?
And what factors do you think contributed to your selection as a compliment relay runner?

Due to the nature of the job in charge, it is a little embarrassing to have a role that can be just good within the organization, but I think it is a grateful and happy thing to receive a complaint from someone.

And as for why I was selected... It seems like a few words said in passing to someone who was struggling with an overloaded workload were appreciated.

I think we should take it as a sign to do a little better and try to listen to the concerns of our members every day.

Q5. What do you most want to accomplish for MONITORAPP in 2024?

I plan to fulfill the role of a staff organization that can be understood and empathized with more members,

and to play my role as a guide to help members improve their work capabilities to the next level.

Q6. How would you like to see MONITORAPP grow in about 5 years and what do you wish for MONITORAPP?

In order for an organization to grow in scale, I believe that organic collaboration between each department, including development, sales, technical support, marketing, management, and planning, is essential.

Sometimes there will be conflicting interests between departments, and there will be internal and external challenges and trial and error, but I would like to see an organization that doesn't settle, doesn't avoid, doesn't fear, and keeps trying things.

Even if the results are not satisfactory, there will definitely be something to be learned in the process, and I think the experiences in the process will be the foundation for growth.

Q7. Say something to MONITORAPP members!

It is rare for something to change so dramatically in a single moment for both organizations and individuals without the voluntary efforts of each member.

I would like to encourage you to be confident in your voice, take responsibility, and most importantly, focus on growing your own competitiveness.

Thank you.

We would like to thank Minah Park for taking time out of her busy schedule to conduct this interview.

We will be back again in March with the runners of the compliment relay.

Thank you.
